Debbie:
In 1965, Debbie took runner-up in the Miss Ohio segment of the Miss World modeling contest in Cleveland, Ohio. She studied interior design at Ohio University, modeled for a local agency, and then settled into real estate with her father, Howard Day. Debbie became interested in Harness Racing because she married a man named Bill Eveliser, who was an established horseman at the time. From that point, she had 1,003 Race Starts with 99 first place finishes, 95 second place finishes, and 98 third place finishes with over $500,000 in purse winnings. Not to mention she was one of the first and only female drivers in a man's field at the time. Debbie has had the opportunity to race horses owned by George Stienbrenner, owner of the New York Yankees, and Olig Cassini, who was an iconic Hollywood movie and fashion designer. In fact. Olig Cassini also designed her racing colors. She also engaged with Tony Soprano, a famous actor. She started her bar and restaurant journey the same time Nebbie did, at Shamrock Country Club. With so much life experience and a passion for following her dreams, Debbie can’t help but be the life of the party. This, paired with her big heart, witty sense of humor, and livey personality, made her the perfect partner to nurture the vintage and family-like environment of Eldorado’s.

Nebbie:
Starting with an education in Bartending and Restaurant Management School at Columbus State Community College, and some Mixology courses along the way, Nebbie has really done it all—from founding Shamrock Country Club, owning several different bars (Silvia’s Backdoor, Dazzlers NightClub, The Frog Pond, Debbie and Nebbies Place, Mannequins), and being an avid water rafter and golfer, she has always followed her passions and sense of adventure. Despite her hard-working, persistent demeanor, Nebbie has a deep sense of empathy and understanding for others, and always strives to make staff and patrons feel at-home when in her presence. She deeply admires her mom, who has always been her #1 supporter, never complains, and promotes business like a boss!
